Levant
Written in 2021, Levant is a tone poem written for brass band to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Levant Beam Engine disaster at Levant Mine in West Cornwall. 31 miners lost their lives in the accident. Given that The Great War had only recently finished, this had a huge impact on the residents of the surrounding villages and the town of St Just.
Cornwall My Home
Cornwall My Home is a world famous song written by Cornishman Harry Glasson. One cannot visit Cornwall without hearing it being performed by a choir, a singer, a band or by Harry himself! Arranged with kind permission from Harry by Simon Smith for the Pendeen Silver Band.
The Scillonian
Written in 2022 and inspired by the often rough sea crossing of the Scillonian ferry from Penzance to St Mary’s, Isles of Scilly, The Scillonian is a traditional brass band concert march written for Pendeen Silver Band.

A fabulous Christmas hit by Andy Williams, this vibrant arrangement of this well-known Christmas classic features the Euphonium as the lead instrument. Arranged for the Pendeen Silver Band by Simon Smith.
